Introducing World Recipe ID (WRID)

At the Oxford Institute of Culinary Science and Gastronomy, we proudly support and introduce the World Recipe ID (WRID) — the world’s first global identification system for culinary recipes. WRID empowers chefs, researchers, and culinary institutions to register, trace, and protect their creations through a unique code and authorship profile.

By bridging tradition and innovation, WRID establishes a trusted standard for recipe ownership and culinary publishing in the digital era. As a forward-thinking platform aligned with blockchain readiness and academic rigor, it reflects our commitment to culinary integrity, food heritage, and the future of the culinary arts.

We invite the global food community to explore and join this pioneering initiative.
